What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Engineer position at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions?
The Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Engineer will be responsible for the AI&T of hypersonic test vehicles and sub-assemblies throughout various phases of the design and development on the MACH TB program. This position will be responsible for leading teams in the assembly and integration of systems, ground test planning, execution, and evaluation of assemblies to be validated for flight.

JOB LOCATION:
- Crane, IN
- Huntsville, AL
- Assembly, integration, and environmental testing of flight hardware, electronics, and cable assemblies.
- Review of documentation and designs from various teams to assess compatibility with heritage and new components.
- Coordinate the inputs of various team members to identify and call attention to potential conflicts in availability, readiness, and configurations.
- Brief updates and status on assigned activities, participate in incremental reviews, reconcile technical and operational issues, schedule and oversee regular coordination meetings with other integration teams, and actively manage the completion of assigned tasks.
- Participate in test planning, design, and verification of multiple launch campaigns for ground and air launched vehicles and payloads to ensure their launch worthiness.
- Provide oversight and training to other AI&T personnel, analysts, and other team members.
- Identify and report risks in terms of resources and schedule across all missions and campaigns.
- Develop IMS inputs and define critical paths from various groups and subcontractors from mission initiation to launch to meet the programs major milestones.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Experience with payload and subsystem design, assembly, integration, and test of space launch and/or hypersonic vehicles.
- Adept problem solver and possess critical thinking skills
- Must be self-motivated and goal oriented
- Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization such as employees, management and internal / external sponsors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Must be a US citizen
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Must have valid driver's license/vehicle insurance sufficient to access military facilities
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline with minimum 5 years of experience in launch vehicle assembly, integration, and test. 10 years of relevant AI&T experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.

- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
