Job Descriptions : 5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is a growing defense contractor headquartered in Round Rock, TX with over twenty years’ experience providing systems and software engineering for Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Systems Engineering Technical Support to Government Program Offices.5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate in support of our customer located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, who will serve as a Senior Logistics Analyst. The Senior Logistics Analyst provides support and assists the Logistics Director, Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) with expert analysis in Integrated Product Support Planning and acquisition logistics for the Production and Deployment (P&D), and Operation and Sustainment (O&S) phases for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS). Specified support is required to the IFMC Logistics Directorate in preparation of Basis of Issue Plan (BOIP) Feeder Data documents and support to materiel fielding planning.This position prepares logistics input for life cycle planning and O&S cost estimates. It will require knowledge of Cloud Equipping (cQuip) and staffing of BOIP process, as well as materiel release process. In addition, position requires knowledge of development line-item number (ZLIN) request and national stock number (NSN) process. Will require support for development, coordination and review of product support documents and supportability program plans required for successful milestone decision reviews. These documents include but are not limited to the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), logistics portion of Acquisition Strategy, Type Classification, Materiel Release, Materiel Fielding Plan, Logistics Demonstration requirements, Transition to Sustainment (T2S) Plan, logistics related Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) documents, and the Depot Maintenance Support Plan.The position will review and provide product support input to the training plans, Materiel Release Plan, Human Systems Integration (HIS) Management Plan, System Specifications, and the Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD). This position will coordinate for product and logistics support between the PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment, the Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Product Office, Sentinel Product Office, the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense (LTAMDS) Radar Product Office and the IFMC Logistics Directorate.Required Experience : US CitizenSecret security clearanceResident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.Candidate must have a minimum DAU Acquisition Logistics Level 1 Certification.Experience with MS Office to include Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Other QualificationsKnowledge of Cloud Equipping (cQuip) and staffing of BOIP process.Knowledge of development line-item number (ZLIN) request and national stock number (NSN) process.A minimum bachelor’s preferred, but not required.Candidate must have a general knowledge of and 1-5 years of experience with Army Air Defense Systems and command and control systems.Keyword : logistics, cQUIP, BOIP, materiel fieldingKratos Defense is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
