Kratos is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to perform functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting the infrastructure, business processes and operations and / or network-based (cloud) product systems. Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies, and supports operating systems, database or utilities software. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions. Analyzes, designs, acquires and implements projects for standalone and interconnected systems. Design, automate, and deploy cloud resources supporting mission / business operations and development activities.
- Provision, configure, administrate, automate, monitor, and support enterprise and project cloud services.
- Design and implement scalable and robust cloud infrastructure capable of supporting real-world, operational missions
- Through automation, enforce continuous compliance to security standards.
- Design state-of-the-art technical solutions that are scalable, reliable, secure, and meet performance requirements.
- Support architectural design and new cloud service implementations utilizing industry best practices.
- Assist with the planning and migration of legacy applications to the cloud.
- Perform operational engineering for activities which include platform upgrades, server patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide periodic off-hours on-call support for production and development environments.
- Manage security logging, monitoring, and alert triage and participate in security incident response and investigation.
- Utilize various automation, monitoring, and service management tools & techniques to troubleshoot issues and perform performance tuning
- Support our development and engineering teams on cloud related issues
- Adhere and comply with System Development Lifecycle and Release Management processes and procedures to include the use of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range : $130,000-$160,000
