Kratos is seeking a proven

writer / content marketing ace

with at least three years experience in marketing communications or journalism. Core responsibilities will include developing high value content for our publishing efforts covering technology in the space and satellite communications industry. Primary responsibilities will include : Developing story ideas and writing articles for our online magazine ConstellationsWorking with freelance contributors to publication effortsCreating inventive content communication projects such as infographics and videosWriting case studies and stories about how companies and government agencies are using Kratos products and servicesContributing to social media programsFamiliarity and experience with technology is strongly desired, especially experience in or writing about the space, telecommunication or IT industries, however most important is the

ability to identify and tell compelling stories that readers care about .Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, including the ability to work professionally with executives, government figures and industry leaders.Experience writing and promoting web content is valuable, with knowledge of SEO a plus, though not essential. Public relations experience is also helpful.BA / BS and minimum of three years of experience in marketing, journalism or other communications fields is required. Key skills include the ability to write well and on deadline. Good research, interviewing and editing skills are essential, as is thorough attention to detail.
