Serves as a Material Release and Modification Work Order Coordinator. Assures that critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements. Plans, directs, coordinates, manages areas of the logistics program which encompasses the operations and activities related to logistical support provided to the Program Executive Office (PEO) Project Management Office (PMO) / Program Management Office (PMO).

Has responsibility and authority for integration of separate functions to include funding, supply, maintenance, procurement, provisioning, transportation / transportability, new equipment training and fielding of assigned systems and / or equipment for the logistics management program throughout the entire lifecycle of assigned systems.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs such as, but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Logistics Management Specialists should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the following duties and responsibilities :

  • Knowledge and experience with AR 770-3 and DA PAM 770-3 to obtain a weapon System Type Classification (TC) and Materiel Release (MR). The candidate will have experience with the processes and staffing of TC and MR packages through the proper Functional Authority's (FA). Have knowledge of the different Materiel releases for both hardware and software. Experience with inputting MR data in the Materiel Release Tracking System (MRTS). Tracks / monitors MRTS get well planning dates and conditions. Informs the Product Support Manager (PSM) of required get well extension request. Holds TC / MR Integrated Product Teams (IPT), prepares briefing materials, tracks meeting minutes, maintains action item tracker.
  • Knowledge and experience with AR 750-10 Army Modification Program, DA From 7591 Modification Work Order (MWO) fielding plan, DA Form 7592 modification work order exhibit of concurrence. Understands Class I and II engineering change proposals and the relationship to the MWO process. Experience with inputting / tracking MWOs in the Modification Management Information System (MMIS), tracks unit compliance for MWO application. Coordinates MWO packages with the Life-Cycle Management Command MWO coordinator. Schedules MWO validation (VAL) and verification (VER) events with stakeholders, and Original Equipment Manufacture or Government Agency. Schedules equipment Users for VER activities through the appropriate Capability Manager and or CASCOM. Identifies contractual language and CDRLs for MWO requirements to include in the Statement of Work and or Performance Work Statements.
  • Knowledge and experience in DoD Acquisitions and specifications to ensure product planning, development, acquisition, fielding plans, schedules, and strategies
  • Knowledge and experience in Materiel Release processes for Full Materiel Release, Conditional Materiel Release, Urgent Materiel Release, and Software Materiel Release
  • Provide technical support for Uncrewed Aircraft Systems sustainment maintenance planning to include Field and Sustainment Level Maintenance planning, Modification Work Order (MWO) planning and execution, obsolescence mitigation planning
  • Manage any deficient, redundant, or obsolete equipment through the DLA Disposition Center or Tobyhanna, ensuring all documentation is accurate and logistics databases (COLTS or DPAS) accurately reflect disposition
  • Assist in developing and managing Memorandum of Agreement between Product Office and other Government agencies on maintenance related actions.
  • Provide technical support on Uncrewed Aircraft Systems sustainment maintenance planning to include Field and Sustainment Level Maintenance planning, Modification Work Orders (MWO) planning and execution, obsolescence mitigation planning.
  • Create contract modification documentation to transfer property between organizations and ensure traceability for government property from manufacturer to end user
  • Collaborate with other specialists to review policies, plans and procedures to ensure they are appropriately applied to daily operations
  • Responsible for working with PM-UAS Acquisition Logistics personnel, external stakeholders and agencies to enable automated requisition flow, returns, and plan for support of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP, Modification Work Orders (MWOs), and other product modification and supply related functions.

  • Experience working in a DOD field

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 16 years with High School Diploma
  • REQUIRED TRAVEL :

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. issued passport
  • Travel is expected up to 25%
