The Senior Manufacturing Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations with a strong emphasis on process integration, adherence to rigorous quality standards, and the implementation and education of one-piece flow principles. This role requires a dynamic leader who can optimize production processes, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the seamless integration of new technologies and methodologies across the production floor.

Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to align with organizational goals, emphasizing operational efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.
Drive the integration of cross-functional processes, ensuring seamless collaboration between electrical, mechanical, and quality teams.
Oversee the adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements across all production activities.
Champion root cause analysis and corrective action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Lead initiatives to foster a quality-focused culture, ensuring workers understand the importance of precision and accountability.
Design, implement, and sustain one-piece flow manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Train and mentor team members at all levels on one-piece flow principles, emphasizing its benefits for productivity and customer satisfaction.
Continuously evaluate and refine workflows to ensure optimal performance and alignment with lean manufacturing principles.
Build and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and offering opportunities for professional growth.
Educate workers on new systems, processes, and proper tool use, ensuring successful adoption and integration.
Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
Communicate operational updates, challenges, and successes to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Prepare and present performance reports, highlighting progress on key initiatives, including one-piece flow and quality improvement.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in large industrial manufacturing management environment (mechanical / electrical), or large commercial construction management (mechanical / electrical), with a proven track record of leading large teams.
Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, including one-piece flow and waste reduction techniques.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and production planning software.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to be physically present on the production floor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and actively monitoring operations.
The role requires working from a standing desk located on the production floor, ensuring direct engagement with the manufacturing process and personnel.
May require occasional lifting, moving, or handling of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, temperature variations, and machinery.
Must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks, reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
Adequate visual and auditory capabilities to inspect equipment, identify potential safety hazards, and communicate effectively.
