Krause Group is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive our long-term growth and investment strategies as the Head of Capital Deployment & Growth Initiatives. In this role, you will oversee a diverse, global portfolio of assets, ensuring alignment with Krause Group’s purpose, mission, and values. You will lead the development of new business investment and acquisition strategies across current and future Krause Group ventures, fostering value-added differentiation in the marketplace. With clear goals and accountability already established for portfolio company leadership, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new investment opportunities to fuel future growth within the Krause Group portfolio.

Principal Functions of the Job

• Lead portfolio management across diverse asset classes (active, passive, operating companies, minority investments, PE funds, etc.), ensuring strategic alignment with Krause Group’s vision and long-term priorities.
• Identify and evaluate potential target businesses for acquisition and / or investments within the Krause Group portfolio.
• Proactively identify acquisition targets, leveraging networks and industry insights, and provide strategic guidance on due diligence and M&A processes to ensure seamless execution by the team.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth, expansion, and diversification.
• Serve as the primary lead for the Investment Committee operations, overseeing the creation, management, and optimization of content, processes, and strategic decision-making frameworks.
• Identify and evaluate potential target business for acquisition.
• Monitor industry, market, and demographic trends on an ongoing basis to inform revenue strategies.
• Serve as an active member of the Krause Group Senior Leadership Team.
• Influence business leaders to adopt recommendations and new processes.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of growth initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage the growth budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, board members, investors, and partners.
• Drive profitability while advancing Krause Group’s mission, ensuring all strategies and actions align with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).

Qualifications

Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate/business development, portfolio management, investment strategy, International M&A, or related fields, with a demonstrated focus on sustainable and responsible business practices.
• Experience within a family office, with a strong emphasis on investment strategy and portfolio management.
• Proven track record of driving success through innovation, strategic partnerships, mergers & acquisitions, startup ventures, or private equity. Strong expertise in investments and portfolio management.
• Direct or in-direct experience with marketable securities or private equity (PE) investing.
•  History of decision-making based on business metrics and data analysis.
• Implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), resulting in social and environmental benefits for both the organization and the community.

Minimum Skills and/or Knowledge Required

• Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of governance within a family business.
• Proficiency in a Romance language is preferred.
• Strong Passion for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
• Excels in environments characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
• Ability to travel globally up to 30% of the time.
