POSITION DESCRIPTION : Responsible for oversite of the Krauss Company. You will set the standard for professionalism within the team, building and maintaining a high-performance team able to grow market share through a commitment to customer satisfaction, quality, and an understanding of the business environment and local community. Represents Krauss Company as a leader for customers, employees, and within the community. Responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing salespeople consistent with Sales Management Disciplines. Controls selling expenses and manages sales resources to improve profit position. Establishes and maintains long-term relationships with strategically important Customers to influence opportunities. Develops and directs the sales force in selling service offerings including planned service agreements, controls, and mechanical retrofits.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES :
- Responsible for day-to-day operations for Krauss Company.
- Meets with existing contract customers and maintains long-term customer relationships with strategically important accounts to influence opportunities.
- Develop and implement an annual plan for the company.
- Ensure the company is properly staffed to meet commitments to the customers.
- Oversee the Operations Group, and provide direction and leadership needed to ensure customer communications and expectations are met.
- Evaluate staff to determine training needs, strengths, and weaknesses and determine a plan for improvements or replacement.
- Build and foster a team environment within the company.
- Evaluate Krauss Company's performance in customer satisfaction, provide leadership for performance enhancement, and proactively resolve issues.
- Work with the Senior Management Team to ensure company standards, processes, and tools are used and applied.
- Develop and implement an annual sales plan for the company.
- Manage assigned service sales portfolio to maximize secured sales, return on assets, revenue, and growth objectives.
- Increase market penetration in local service business by securing new customers and expanding the existing customer base.
- Analyze the market and current business performance. Execute growth strategies for sales and operations teams consistent with branch and Building Efficiency business mission and objectives.
- Participate as the management team representative on strategically important target accounts.
- Review bids and estimates for accuracy and oversee bid preparation and operational review meetings.
- Ensure the development and training of the sales workforce on established processes, tools, and standards.
- Provide sales focus, and set aggressive individual and team goals.
- Partner with sales channels to identify and sell sizeable light commercial and applied sales opportunities.
- Identify and visit key customers and determine strategy to obtain their business.
- Regularly visit selling companies and establish scheduled calls with the sales force and factory staff.
- Develop new customers for the company through the use of prospecting and qualifying tools.
- Present professionally and effectively the company’s philosophies and capabilities to prospects and customers.
- Identify key accounts and provide services to achieve long-term relationships for the company.
- Contribute productive ideas to enhance the company’s sales and marketing programs.
