The Administrative Assistant handles the day-to-day operations for the Vice President of Operations. This position will work closely with other administrative staff and coordinate meetings, create and organize reports, manage events and projects as well as manage incoming and outgoing correspondence. The most successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about working with a fast-paced and high-level team.

- Create and organize, and manage all the VP’s projects and priorities
- Manage each day’s schedule, meeting, or event arrangements
- Handle sensitive issues with discretion
- Excel at writing emails, reports, and other documents
- Ensure that all necessary equipment is set up for meetings, attend meetings as requested, take notes
- Assist with Bi-weekly call reports/agenda
- Help with coordination of facility events
- Assist with High Point Furniture Market responsibilities in April & October
- Help to coordinate photography appointment
- Assist and support with administrative HR functions
- Other duties as assigned

Experience/Certifications/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in an office environment
- Proficient with Google Suite products
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work thoughtfully and thoroughly with continuous attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and retain a wide range of small details concerning multiple product types, tasks, system processes, issues, and/or projects
- Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable multi-tasking, or, pivoting between tasks on the fly as the need arises
- Willingness to learn new products, procedures, and processes as business needs change
- A friendly attitude with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service and be a team player and stay self-motivated in a fast-paced environment
