Key responsibilities:
Strategic Growth & P&L Management
- Develop and execute a three-year business plan, including working with the Studios on product plans by year for company-owned/developed programs as well as third party programs.
- Collaborate with showroom merchandising teams to optimize product merchandising.
- Own and manage the wallpaper division’s P&L, ensuring sustainable profitability.
- Assess the need for a wallpaper-driven brand or an expanded Kravet-branded wallpaper collection, ensuring a competitive market approach.
- Create and execute a sales and marketing plan, tailored to:
- Inside & outside sales teams
- Commercial & residential markets
- E-commerce platforms & direct-to-consumer strategies
- Brand-specific sales initiatives
- Collaborate on the development of sales and marketing materials for the sales team.
- Drive sales force training initiatives to increase product knowledge and improve market penetration.
- Evaluate exclusivity opportunities to enhance the division’s competitive position, following industry best practices.
- Develop and manage relationships with represented wallcovering lines, ensuring strong sales partnerships, strategic alignment, and optimized market positioning.
- Develop a unified sourcing strategy, leveraging both domestic and international suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and innovation.
- Lead an in-depth evaluation of digital printing opportunities for wallpaper and fabric, including potential investment or acquisition strategies.
- Ensure cohesive product development by assessing whether print stylists have wallpaper-specific expertise and hiring specialized talent as needed.
- Coordinate with leaders of all brands to ensure no duplication and maintain a cohesive merchandising strategy across collections.
- Stay ahead of design and market trends, ensuring a contemporary and differentiated approach in the wallpaper category.
- Maintain a competitive edge by assessing key competitors while positioning the company uniquely in the market.
- 10 years of experience in wallpaper, textiles, or luxury home furnishings.
- Strong P&L management experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue and profitability.
- Experience leading multi-channel sales and marketing strategies in both trade and consumer-facing markets.
- Deep industry knowledge with expertise in sourcing, product development, and supplier negotiations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive execution.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across sales, product development, and operations.
