What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Soils Field Technician position at Krazan & Associates, Inc.?
Krazan & Associates is looking to hire an Experienced Soils Field Technician for our Modesto, CA offices.
Responsibilities Include: Performing QA/QC field observations while work is in progress following design reports and documents, collecting samples using a gauge to determine moisture density content, and delivering samples for laboratory testing. During the testing and observation process, prepare accurate and detailed documentation and submit daily for review.
We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record, strong work-ethic with a professional attitude. The ideal candidate will have construction Soils testing experience for a geotechnical engineering or materials testing company.
Position Requirements:
· Physically able to regularly lift and /or move up to 75 lbs.
· Must be insurable under company vehicle policy.
· Valid Certificates:
· Nuclear Density Gauge
· ACI Field Testing Technician - Preferred (may train the right candidate).
