Krazan & Associates, Inc. is a full-service engineering firm with offices across the West Coast. We are seeking a Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) to join our Clovis, CA team. This role will support our Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Testing & Inspection teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Geologist that values professional development and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological site investigations and provide detailed reports
- Assess geological hazards and provide foundation recommendations for engineering designs
- Perform field mapping, subsurface exploration and lab analysis of soil samples.
- Develop erosion control plans and advise on environmental impact considerations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Education: BS/MS in Geology, Engineering Geology or related field
- Certification: CEG or PE certification in CA required (CEG preferred)
- Experience: 5 years in engineering, project management, or related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of California geology, seismic risk assessment, and environmental regulations
