What You’ll Do:

• Lead, train, and support a warehouse team in all aspects of shipping and receiving
• Coordinate timely job picking based on the production schedule, ensuring seamless communication with team leads
• Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Oversee outgoing shipments, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery
• Maintain inventory accuracy with regular cycle counts, and resolve any discrepancies
• Continuously improve shipping and receiving processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and other departments to resolve warehouse-related concerns
• Use shipping and inventory management software to track shipments and analyze performance
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Roll up your sleeves when needed to assist with loading/unloading trucks and material handling
  
  

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3 years of direct shipping and receiving experience
• Forklift experience required
• Proven leadership experience preferred
• Experience with Epicor production systems and UPS Worldship preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English required
  
  

Physical Demands:

• Frequently sit, stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally climb or balance
• Regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds
• Frequently lift and/or move up to thirty-five pounds
• Frequently reach, push, or pull up to fifty pounds
• Frequently communicate through talk and hearing
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  
  

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a warehouse shop environment
• Exposure to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable
• Noise level is moderate to high
  
  

Shift:Day shift hours with a start time at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM, as agreed with manager. Working times may change based on business needs.
