Job Summary:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling the facility grounds, monitoring checkpoints, responding promptly to emergency situations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the property. This is a key position that requires vigilance, professionalism, and a calm demeanor, especially during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol interior and exterior areas of the facility regularly
- Monitor security checkpoints and complete scheduled check-ins
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including medical, fire, and safety incidents
- Document and report all incidents, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns
- Maintain a strong presence and provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors
- Ensure compliance with all facility security protocols and procedures
- Work collaboratively with nursing and management staff during emergencies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if patrol requires driving)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
