Position Overview :
We are seeking a Social Media Director to lead our dynamic team of 7 account managers and oversee 70 social media accounts across various industries. This role requires a strategic and creative leader who can drive innovative content strategies, manage internal processes, and ensure client satisfaction through performance tracking and KPI alignment.
As the Social Media Director, you will be responsible for creative direction, team building, process management, and client engagement to ensure our social media efforts remain impactful, innovative, and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Team Management :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7 account managers , ensuring they are aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the team, encouraging creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking .
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and brainstorming workshops to refine social media strategies.
Creative Direction & Content Strategy :
Provide creative direction for all social media campaigns and content, ensuring brand consistency and engagement across 70 client accounts .Oversee and approve shot lists, content themes, and social media calendars to maintain high-quality and compelling storytelling.Work closely with the video production team to coordinate shoots, ensuring content aligns with client goals and brand messaging.Generate and pitch new social-first creative ideas for the team to implement across multiple platforms (Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).Process Management & Execution :
Establish and refine internal workflows, processes, and expectations to streamline social media operations.Ensure all projects are executed on time by tracking deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and overseeing quality control .Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies to keep clients ahead of the curve.Client Communication & KPI Alignment :
Conduct monthly client touch bases to review performance, discuss campaign insights, and align strategies with client goals.Ensure client KPIs (engagement, follower growth, conversion rates, ad performance, etc.) are met or exceeded.Work alongside the analytics team to review reports, optimize campaigns, and suggest data-driven improvements .Qualifications & Experience :
5 years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, and team leadership within an agency or brand.Strong background in social media management, content marketing, and paid advertising across multiple platforms.Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.Experience working with video teams, photographers, and content creators to produce engaging multimedia content.Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills to oversee multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.Strong understanding of social media analytics, performance metrics, and KPI tracking .Proficiency in social media management tools (Sprout Social, Monday, Slack and Dropbox).Ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and adapt to industry changes quickly.Why Join Us?
