Job Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Operations to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our dynamic marketing agency. This role requires a strategic leader with at least 10 years of experience in marketing agency operations , a deep understanding of cross-functional teams (web development, SEO, PPC, social media, video / photo production, and integrated marketing), and a proven track record of optimizing performance and driving agency growth.
As the Head of Operations, you will ensure seamless collaboration across departments, maintain the highest quality of service delivery, and implement processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities : Operational Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and workflows that optimize the efficiency and productivity of the agency.
- Oversee the operations of all departments (Web Development, SEO, PPC, Social Media, Video / Photo Production, and General Marketing) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all departments and report on agency performance to the CEO and stakeholders.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence across the agency.
Team Management & Development
Manage and mentor department leads to foster professional growth and ensure alignment with the agency's objectives.Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier talent.Facilitate interdepartmental communication to ensure cohesive teamwork and problem-solving.Client & Project Management
Oversee client onboarding processes to ensure seamless handoffs and exceptional experiences.Collaborate with account managers and department leads to address client needs, resolve issues, and exceed expectations.Ensure alignment between client goals, deliverables, and project outcomes.Process Improvement & Scalability
Continuously review and improve operational workflows to ensure scalability and adaptability to a growing client base.Implement and oversee project management tools and systems to enhance collaboration and productivity.Stay up to date with industry trends, technology, and best practices to maintain the agency’s competitive edge.Financial Management
Partner with the finance team to manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.Drive cost-efficiency without compromising quality or client satisfaction.Monitor project profitability and identify areas for improvement.Qualifications :
Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing agency operations , with a track record of managing diverse teams and departments.Strong understanding of web development, SEO, PPC, social media, video / photo production, and full-service marketing.Proven leadership experience, with excellent team-building and mentorship skills.Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with a history of successfully managing complex, multi-departmental projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
