About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Bring projects to life by creating intricate CAD drawings and stunning 3D models tailored to project specifications.
- Work closely with talented engineers and project managers to ensure every design meets the highest technical and regulatory standards.
- Transform feedback from clients and team members into improved and refined drawings.
- Generate comprehensive documentation and reports that propel project development forward.
- Keep CAD files and project documentation well-organized and easily accessible.
- Apply cutting-edge computer-aided drafting (CAD) standards to develop top-notch design documents and suggest innovative upgrades to internal practices.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest industry trends, software updates, and best practices in CAD design.
- Be the go-to problem solver for troubleshooting and resolving any design-related challenges that arise.
- Education: Associate degree in Drafting/CAD Design or two years of relevant college courses.
- 3 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in engineering or architecture.
- Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD suite of products; familiarity with Vault, Plant 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks is a plus. Advanced knowledge in CAD software and design tools to create intricate drawings and 3D models that meet project specifications.
- Field survey, site plan development, construction layout, laser scanning, and point cloud processing.
- Desire to work effectively with engineers and project managers, translating client and team feedback into refined and improved design solutions.
- Understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Strong understanding of the latest industry trends, software updates, and best practices in CAD design to ensure staying ahead of the curve and bringing innovative solutions to the team.
