Brand Ambassador

JOB SUMMARY

The Brand Ambassador is responsible for raising brand awareness and increasing sales within the assigned sales territory. Brand Ambassadors are responsible for promoting our products, ensuring distribution and the proper merchandising of our product on shelf. They provide shelf management support, including restocking and rotating products, securing secondary displays and distribution of point-of-sales materials. The Brand Ambassador serves as the “eyes and ears” of our sales team within our customer’s locations, providing feedback and competitive insights from within their respective markets. The position is both customer (retailer) and consumer facing and will aid in product education and the resolution of any service or quality concerns.

The Brand Ambassador must have a minimum of an associate’s degree and prior merchandising experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

Strategic and tactical work for which this position is accountable :

The main objective of the Brand Ambassador’s work is to :

• Increasing sales volume within their market area
• Communicate the benefits of our products to customers and consumers
• Educate store personnel regarding our products, our company and the resources we provide in support of their business
• Aid in store merchandising, securing secondary placements when available
• Report on inventory levels within stores covered
• Remove any expired or damaged products
• Meet with dairy managers for sales planning and re-ordering purposes
• Surveying stores, and forecast sales
• Address customer and consumer concerns or issues
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to both our sales and quality assurance teams
• The Brand Ambassador additional responsibilities including :
• Participate in new store openings
• Provide competitive retail insights within their respective marketing area
• Assist in identifying potential areas for improvement within our operations (e.g. distribution, customer service, etc.)
• Aid in developing store / market specific strategies and drafting goals for our company
• Build a strong rapport at many levels within our customer locations (e.g. dairy manager, receivers, store management, etc.)
• Perform other duties as needed (e.g. quality control support)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of an associate’s degree in marketing, business or related field

Vision abilities required include close vision and working at a computer monitor

Ability to spend hours driving an automobile as job requires extensive travel

Often working within a refrigerated location (dairy coolers)
