Delivery Driver I
Starting Pay: $20/ hour
We are looking to hire an energetic, customer-centric Delivery Driver I to join our team.
The Delivery Driver I assists in loading trucks, operating the truck ensuring safe delivery of product to customers, and unloads the product, all while following the proper procedures. It is the responsibility of the Delivery Driver I to be the face of Kreher Family Farms with the customers, and to build good relationships with the customer personnel so as to leave the customer feeling that their interaction with Kreher’s was a positive one.
This is a day shift, working Monday – Friday from 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, with optional weekend runs periodically

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Shipping and Receiving with loading the truck.
- Ensure load is properly secured.
- Perform pre-trip inspection (refrigeration temperature, and DOT truck safety items).
- Safely drive to destination.
- Unload correct order.
- Interact with receiving individuals in a professional, positive manner.
- At each stop verify refrigeration temperature and security of load.
- Accurately complete all paperwork (bill of lading, SQF documents, logbook, and vehicle inspection report).
- Perform other job duties as directed.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Good truck driving skills.
- Skilled in the operation of a power jack.
- Has a safety-first mentality.
- Committed to careful product handling.
- Good customer relationship skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently although under direct supervision.
- Efficiency minded.
- MUST HAVE A CLEAN CDL-B LICENSE, CDL-A IS PREFERRED
**MUST NOT CURRENTLY OWN OR HUNT BIRDS (pet birds, backyard flocks, etc.)
