Maintenance Technician I
Pay range: $19- $25/ hour

The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level maintenance position in which the successful candidate will learn and become familiar with the Kreher facilities, machinery, and equipment, and to perform under direct supervision, the duties relative to maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment according to instructions and pre-established guidelines, while ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity within the departments of Kreher Family Farms. This position performs work both inside the barns and outside on farm grounds.
Full-time positions at 40 hours/ week. The scheduled shift is either Sunday - Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off or Tuesday - Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of operational principles of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices, as well as basic carpentry.
- Basic skills to repair or assist in repairing the type of equipment and facilities on the farm.
- Welding skills is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Highly effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- A "can do", positive attitude.
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation and use technology to track the progress required.
- Will be required to work overtime as needed.
- Being bilingual is a plus, Spanish/ English, but is not required.
