Job Summary:
The Poultry Care Technician Team Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for quality assurance and assisting the Director of Poultry Health in managing the Poultry Health team. Key responsibilities include:
- Quality Assurance: Conducting on-site audits, collecting samples, and reviewing audits to ensure farm compliance.
- Team Support: Overseeing supply ordering, staff onboarding, and providing support across three farms.
- Monitoring & Records: Assisting with monitoring activities, maintaining records, verifying flock data, and analyzing audit trends.
- Educational Activities: Conducting annual animal welfare training and other educational initiatives.
Based at the Wolcott facility, this role requires travel to support and manage teams across various sites.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in animal science or related science field and two years of live commercial poultry production experience OR unrelated degree / no degree and minimum of six years of experience in live commercial poultry production setting
