PROCESSING ATTENDANT I
Starting pay: $16.50/ hour
What better way to see how eggs are packed and shipped than to be part of that process! Our eggs are packed and shipped daily to stores throughout New York State and beyond. The Egg Packer is an important part of this process which helps get these fresh, delicious, quality eggs packaged and sent to their destination and to our customers!
The Egg Packer is responsible for the following:
∙ Assist with the machine and plant clean-up during and after the end of each shift.
∙ Perform safety checks on all machinery.
- Watch and maintain egg flow to the packing machine and robot
- Fill and rotate egg material for the packer to maintain flow
- Able to Move pallets around with pallet jack
- Some computer knowledge
- Ability to work alone
- Keep a neat and clean work environment
Requirements:
Very good observation skills
Ability to perform a repetitive motion with arms/hands
Ability to work in a close teamwork environment
Maintains a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to maintain a fast pace while handling a fragile product
Being bilingual, Spanish/ English, is a plus, but not required
High School Diploma or GED preferred
