Job Description:
The Heavy Duty Mechanic Lead will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of trucks and heavy equipment used in the Kreher Family Farms' crops, eggs, and compost/fertilizer divisions.
This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of maintenance and repair activities
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical issues
- Communication with crop leadership and other stakeholders
- Management of routine maintenance schedules
Requirements:
- Associate degree in diesel technology or a related field is preferred
- ASE Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician Certification is preferred
- Minimum of seven years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, or associate's degree in diesel technology and three years of experience
- Class A Commercial Driver's License is required
