Job Summary
The Kreher Family Farms is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to oversee the on-site crop shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel and gas-powered truck and heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic and advanced mechanical duties, including trouble shooting, diagnostics and repair of equipment in the field.
- Travel to remote locations if necessary to provide maintenance and repairs.
- Partner with 3rd party suppliers to monitor repairs and ensure timely turnaround.
- Work closely with crop shop staff to develop internal processes and maintain routine maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in diesel technology or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License.
