Job Summary:
The Director of Human Resources will lead all HR functions, including team management, strategic planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, payroll, benefits, and legal compliance, while supervising the Kreider Farms HR Team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals, overseeing recruitment and promoting a culture of teamwork and engagement.
- Supervise the HR team to ensure operational needs are met and maintain compliance with labor laws.
- Address employee concerns and conflicts effectively while organizing events to enhance team culture.
- Engage in the performance review process and promote career development programs for employee growth.
- Research and recommend competitive compensation and benefits strategies, managing the employee benefits program.
- Oversee HRIS transactions, payroll processes, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Communicate effectively across departments to achieve HR objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 10 years of Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, investigations, and staffing practices.
- Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, construction, and/or transportation industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), HRIS, and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and detail-oriented skills.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with peers and management.
- Willingness to travel periodically to company locations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
