Job Overview:
The Office Administrator serves as the liaison between the business office, engineering, and other departments, assisting by handling administrative tasks like record keeping, communication, and scheduling.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responding to phone calls and emails in order to keep the business operations running smoothly. Track office supplies, and support purchasing as needed with requests for supplies from all departments.
- Data entry for various transactions including accounts payable.
- Welcoming and directing visitors, coordinating meetings and appointments and performing clerical tasks.
- Serve as a resource for other departments, providing administrative support tasks and project coordination.
- Serve lead role for managing incoming/outgoing mail, telephone coverage, receive visitors and/or employment applicants.
- Exhibit initiative and flexibility in handling unexpected situations as they occur.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED
Skills:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent customer service and relational (written, oral and electronic media) skills.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
- Self-managed and initiative-driven
- Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to manage interactions with maintenance, quality and engineering personnel, consultants, and contractors
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
