BENEFITS MANAGER Lawrenceville, GA - In office
SUMMARY:
Our Benefits Manager will develop, implement, and manage all benefits programs for the company. Responsibilities include providing ongoing assessment of effectiveness of programs in attracting and retaining talent for the company and managing overall costs for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the development, implementation, and administration of new and existing benefit programs in accordance with plan documents.
- Collaborate with managers to understand their issues with benefits.
- Communicate and manage outside services for all payroll and benefits vendors.
- Administers all benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, COBRA, Flex, etc.)
- Reviews benefits administration process; identifies gaps and implements process efficiencies.
- Ensures all plan documents and summary plan descriptions are compliant. Ensure accurate and timely submissions of required governmental reporting including 5500s, SPDs etc. Stay informed of benefits related legislation, including The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
- Coordinates the annual open enrollment process for active and COBRA participants by establishing a timeline, ensuring system integrity, developing the communication and working with vendors.
- Advises and counsels management and employees on existing benefits.
- Resolves complex employee benefit plan issues.
- Ensures benefit plan compliance with federal, state and local statutes and regulations including, but not limited to FMLA, ADA and ACA.
- Manages required plan audits and coordinates 5500 annual filings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with on-line enrollment systems.
- Ability to work with and communicate with employees at all levels.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must be organized in fast paced environment, while utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with ADP Software strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
- Fully proficient in Excel and technical aptitude with the ability to use other Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree is required: a focus in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience required.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
