Minimum Qualifications :

- 3-5 years experience as a Linux system administrator
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Scripting experience (python / bash / perl)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable with command line
- Comfortable reading logs (for example : SPLUNK or ELK)
- Use of monitoring tools (ie, Icinga, Nagios)
- Strong understanding of how to create / follow a method of procedure to troubleshoot / maintain and configure systems
- Comfortable working in a variety of different technology environments : web, TV and mobile; front and back-end design utilizing proprietary and open source platforms, as well as back-end administrative systems
- A nearly overpowering desire to automate balanced with a necessary amount of pragmatism
- An open mind as to how automation may be accomplished
- Video application experience is helpful but not required (i.e. Conditional Access, VOD etc)
