What are the responsibilities and job description for the Okta/Microsoft Entra ID Support Engineer position at KRG Technologies Inc.?
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive understanding on IAM business processes, use cases and hands on implementation experience using Microsoft Entra ID
- Manage and support Okta and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Configure and manage user provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
- Ensure the integration of Okta and Microsoft Entra ID with various enterprise applications.
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of IAM systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access and authentication.
- Provide timely support for IAM-related incidents and service requests.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance and streamline IAM processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM systems to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Implement and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes and procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on IAM best practices and tools.
- Create and update technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in managing and configuring Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with SSO, MFA, and federated identity management.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Understanding of network protocols, security standards, and authentication mechanisms.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in IAM operations and support, particularly with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Professional certifications in IAM (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) are a plus.
Note:
This is a 24*7 role may involve being part of an on-call rotation to address critical issues outside regular working hours.
