he Technical Writer II position at KriaaNet, Inc. involves supporting our federal customer Program by preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining various technical documents. This role is essential for ensuring that all technical documentation related to software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation is accurate and comprehensible.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, proofread, and provide writing support on technical and non-technical documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications.
- Design and develop technical manuals, brochures, training materials, or other documentation supporting contract deliverables.
- Research technical reference materials and gather relevant technical information to develop draft and final copies of documentation based on contract requirements.
- Coordinate layout and design of documents and express technical information comprehensibly for a broad audience.
- Write technical copy for various documents for a program/project of similar complexity under general direction.
- Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings and operational procedures to blend large quantities of computer-related information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, or a master's degree with 2 to 6 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain MBI Clearance with IRS.
- Understanding of industry practices and standards applicable to technical writing.
