Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is part of the Kripalu Schools team and is responsible for the successful planning of our trainings, both onsite and online, within the Kripalu Schools and other program areas.
This role handles pre-training preparations, support while the training is in session, and the logistics involved in a world class educational training delivery. The Program Coordinator advises on best practices in the classroom as well as safety protocols and procedures as well as assists and supports the Director in identifying successes and areas for potential improvement. The Program Coordinator serves as a liaison between the faculty, assistants, practice teach mentors, sadhana leaders, students, production team, and the Kripalu Schools leadership and administrative teams.
The ideal candidate should have a real passion for working in the field of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and wellbeing. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. The candidate should have a positive attitude who takes the initiative. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication as well as customer service skills who can prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinates preparation meetings with the faculty, and/or Director.
· Maintains confidentiality and hold professional boundaries
· Works with Schools Manager/School Director to confirm all faculty training assignments.
· Confirms teaching schedule with faculty according to the training calendar requirements.
· Schedules and confirms all support teachers and manages program logistics.
· Manages interdepartmental program needs with key organizational stakeholders.
· Manages production needs and program set up with Production Support including the creation and maintenance of event orders for each training assigned.
· Prepare, order, and maintain inventory of all programs related supplies and resources.
· Supervise program assistants and practice-teach facilitators application, selection, confirmation, and logistics.
· Hold student communications.
· Update and maintain student database, transcripts, certificates, contact lists etc.
· Record part-time and adjunct faculty hours for program in payroll spreadsheet.
· Schedule Adjunct Kripalu employee in Paycom (payroll system)
· Work with Director to ensure program expense budgets are being met.
· Manage classroom and student related needs including attendance, homework, student progress, and student evaluations. Elevate to Director as needed.
· Respond to student issues and emergencies as they arise according to Kripalu policies and safety protocols and procedures.
· Oversee the logistics of practice teach days and open mentoring.
· Debrief each program for all related updates and programming needs with the Kripalu Schools Director, Program Director, and faculty, as well as Production Support as needed.
· Collaborate with Kripalu Schools Director, Program Director, and faculty to support curriculum delivery.
· Collaborate and cross-train with other program coordinators in the schools and across all Kripalu Programs to support coordination of other programs as needed.
· Special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
SCHEDULE
A willingness to work evenings and weekends is essential, as is the flexibility to adjust schedules according to the needs of the trainings.
Qualifications
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate degree or equivalent
· 3 years of experience in office systems management and program production with at least 1 additional year supervising staff.
· Proficient computer skills including Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel and data tracking/management
· Experience in team building and team management
· 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification and/or an equivalent training in Ayurveda or Integrative Yoga Therapy (preferred)
· Demonstrated ability to work on a fast-paced team
· Strong leadership skills
· Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently
· Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills; Positive attitude

Salary : $47,840 - $52,000
