POSITION SUMMARY
The Kripalu Programs Coordinator serves as a key administrative member of the Kripalu Programming Team, which is comprised of Kripalu Experience Programs (KEPs) and R&R—two program areas that make up the largest percentage of Kripalu’s revenue. This role’s primary duties ensure smooth interdepartmental operations and support the Director of Kripalu Programming by scheduling KEP faculty, booking Kripalu Experience Programs (a.k.a Kripalu Signature Programs), ensuring timely and accurate communication of program information to the Marketing and Program Administration teams, and offering essential desk and floor support to the R&R team in maintaining day-to-day operations.
This role requires a strong communicator who can pro-actively relationship build across departments and with approximately 70 Kripalu faculty, all while managing fast-paced deadlines, a myriad of logistical details, and emerging organizational, department, faculty, and guest needs. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Strong written and oral communication and an ability to maintain positive and professional relationships within a bustling department are also essential.
The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated and remain focused and accurate in their work product. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in an ever-changing environment. High level of confidentiality is key in this role. A self-resourcing problem solver, who is proficient in Excel, and has a love for creating orderly and efficient systems is also needed. An existing familiarity with Kripalu Lineage teachings and methodology is preferred.
ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collects schedule availability from faculty
- Partners with Director of Kripalu Programming to match faculty to program content to design a yearly program schedule in accordance with departmental strategic and revenue goals
- Request and manage essential program information once a program is confirmed
- Submit completed booked forms to get programs contracted, built in our system, and promoted
- Partner with faculty and Marketing in requesting and submitting program descriptions, and presenter headshots and bios, as needed
- Partner with key internal departments to execute programs and events
- Attend weekly Kripalu Programs and Virtual Boards meetings to understand overall Kripalu program calendar and skillfully advocate for department needs relative to programming aims.
- Supports the day-to-day operations of the R&R department, providing as-needed communication of emergent schedule changes to Guest Services, Production, and Faculty
- Work within Kripalu-specific systems to support scheduling of a high-volume department
- Answer faculty questions related to scheduling and payment
- Support scheduling of prospective faculty auditions and workshop demonstration days
- Willingness to be cross-trained across department
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or 2 years of related experience with a positive track record.
- Experience and knowledge of experiential programming, education, or transformational industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as the ability to learn in-house technical applications.
VALUED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with Kripalu Lineage Teachings and Methodology
- Expertise in a field that would contribute to this department would be strongly considered (i.e., event planning, education, budget management, or faculty management)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
