The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate adherence to Kris Tech Wire Values, Mission, and Vision. This position is scheduled for the Evening shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM). Overtime is required as needed.
Hourly rate: $19 - $21
Responsibilities:
- Adherence to all production health/safety requirements and quality standards – It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure safety and quality in the workplace.
- Setting up, controlling, and adjusting machinery in accordance with Kris Tech manufacturing procedures in designated twist department.
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of machinery and workstation to include returning tools to their “home” locations.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate activity logs of daily operations; keeping records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Precise inspection of quality samples and completed products.
- Periodically testing operation of machinery; inspecting parts with precision and measuring tools with accuracy (calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, etc.)
- Detecting and analyzing safety, quality, machine, or efficiency issues that might occur during the shift, contacting shift leader for assistance when needed.
- Safely feeding wire into semi-automated machinery for twisting.
- Accurately tagging every wire reel that is produced – factory order tag, scrap tag, hold tag, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Experience: Manufacturing or Production: 1-3 years (Highly preferred)
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Ability to scrap your wire.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery, measuring tools, and production procedures.
- Strong analytical skills – attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
