Job Summary
HIRING IMMEDIATELY:
Delivering Fedex packages from your personal car: EAST LANSING and HASLETT ONLY. Low mile route, designed to fit in your vehicle. (personal vehicles must be passenger vehicles, newer than 2012, no big body damage, insured and registered. Cargo vans are not allowed ).
Drivers must pass the background screen only. Payment is $20 per hour. Applicant pays for their own fuel and repairs.
W-4 position (not 1099) quick approval turnaround, photos of the vehicle will be required. Must be available to deliver starting before noon.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver for part-time position. The candidate will be responsible for delivering small packages in their own car while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail.
Duties
- Follow assigned routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is helpful.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license, insured and registered
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
