Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring a product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.
- Take measurements of various part specifications and record the results
- Analyze results to ensure production is meeting quality specifications
- Inspect individual part surfaces for defects
- Tag and quarantine parts that have significant quality issues to ensure rework gets performed
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- 3 years of QA experience preferred
- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
- Product or industry-specific experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
- Experience with micrometers and other quality lab tools
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong visual inspection skills
- Data collection, management and analysis
- Problem analysis and problem solving
- Judgment
- Full Time 40 hr/week
- Hourly rate range from $15/hr - $20/hr
- 10 paid holidays observed
