Live-In Nanny Needed – Syosset
Kids’ Ages: 19-month-old (in daycare 9 AM - 6 PM) & newborn (due August 2025) Salary: $1150-1300/week
Schedule:
- Tuesday-Saturday, 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
- Flexibility required—some days hours may shift with advance notice, especially after the baby arrives
- Help with mornings and evenings when both children are in daycare
- Weekend childcare for the baby, light support as needed
Responsibilities:
- Care for newborn and for toddler when home from daycare
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep (easy cooking, ideally Chinese cuisine)
- Clean up after dinner and assist with evening routines
- Help after daycare with dinner, bath, and bedtime
- Assist with daycare drop-offs and pickups (ideally drives; car can be provided)
- Travel with the family for occasional trips, including weddings and Bahamas visits (international travel preferred but not required)
Requirements:
- Must have previous live-in nanny experience caring for both infants and toddlers in the same household
- Verifiable references from past live-in positions with long-term families
- Prior experience with newborns, including feeding, sleep routines, and general infant care
- Ideally speaks Mandarin to teach the children
- Flexible and adaptable to schedule changes as needed
Start Date: Flexible, can begin anytime before August 2025
