JOB DETAILS:
Homeschool Teacher/Tutor Needed – Ronkonkoma Area
Job Code: LOTRonkonkoma2
Child's Age: 4-year-old
Pay: $30 /hour (negotiable based on experience)
The family seeks a dedicated educator to provide one-on-one homeschooling and tutoring support for their 4-year-old child, with a focus on developmental growth and consistency.
Schedule:
- 4 days per week, flexible hours (e.g., 1 PM daily or similar)
- Consistent schedule preferred
- Start date: Late August/September 2025
Responsibilities:
- Teach and follow the homeschool curriculum for the 4-year-old
- Provide focused support in speech development and special needs education (e.g., autism or ABA therapy methods)
- Engage in interactive learning, using tailored approaches to suit the child’s needs
- Collaborate with the family to ensure progress and consistency in education
Requirements:
- Prior experience with homeschooling, tutoring, or working with special needs children
- Familiarity with ABA methods or speech development techniques is highly desirable
- No teaching degree is required; homeschool moms or retired educators are welcome
- Must be reliable, consistent, and passionate about child development
