Responsibilities :
- Responsible for testing the finished product and recording the results of this testing. Responsible for reporting all deviations to management which include any deviations from company standards or governmental regulations. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) must be always followed.
- Obtain samples and test daily, finished products for compliance with the product specifications and record all results.
- Audit and monitor the compliance to the GMP standards and record and report all deviations to the Food Safety / Quality Assurance Management
- Be a resource to production team members on food safety and quality issues
- Tag non-standard batches assuring product does not leave the plant and report this product to management
- Test incoming raw materials according to Q.A. work instructions
- Coordinate and make product samples as requested by Food Safety / Quality Management
- Maintain Quality Assurance (QA) records as requested by the Food Safety Manager
- Other tasks as assigned by the Food Safety Manager.
