Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle packages of varying sizes.
Duties
- Safely operating your delivery vehicles
- Load and unload packages efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Navigate routes using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in moving or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing delivery schedules.
