Nature of Work:
The Senior Producer/Director is responsible for the creative and technical quality of all audio and video elements of the production he or she is working on. A Senior Producer/Director will use his or her knowledge and experience to tell visually compelling stories and carry a project through the whole production and post-production process. Duties will include field production and directing, editing audio and video, creating and implementing graphics and color correction of the finished project.
Examples of work performed:
- Lead the conception and execution of field production around multiple content initiatives
- Lead the editing process for high-quality video content, ensuring creative and technical excellence.
- Edit, reformat, and enhance video and audio elements for various projects.
- Collaborate with producers, and other team members to achieve the desired vision and style.
- Responsible for the entire post-production process, including color correction, graphics and visual effects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior personnel and production staff.

Qualifications:
- Minimum
- 7-10 years’ experience as a Producer and Director within a broadcast level facility.
- Must have complete and demonstrated working knowledge of non-linear post-production process (Avid Media Composer and/or Avid Symphony preferred), or have multiple years’ experience as a linear editor.
- Expert level experience using Adobe Photoshop, After Effects is required.
- Thorough understanding of contemporary production pipeline from concept to delivery.
- Proven record of demonstrated creativity with an ability to generate new ideas and translate them into high-quality programs.
- An independent thinker and idea-generator who is also a team player.
- Outstanding editorial judgment and creative abilities, strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Has the ability to work flexible hours which could include evening, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Preferred
- Four Year Degree in Broadcasting/Communications, or an equivalent technical degree is preferred.
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
