Nature of Work:
The Carpenter with Kroenke Sports is key part of the building maintenance and operations team that is responsible for the many carpentry tasks throughout our facilities. They are going to be responsible for ensuring that the door hardware, building finishes, and arena seats are in good working order.
Examples of work performed:
- Installs and maintains all door hardware including mortises, key cores, crash bars, door closures, and all other commercial door hardware.
- Assists in maintenance of key inventory. Cuts keys and pins cores while maintaining inventory.
- Repair drywall, tile, millwork, concrete, and all other finishes throughout facility.
- Assist with hanging fixtures such as pictures, calendars, and cabinets.
- Provides information regarding changes/repairs, etc., to the Chief Engineer for consideration and approval.
- Snow removal on property grounds. Plow truck operation on property grounds.
- Maintains all work logs on a routine basis to ensure proper and timely recording of work activity for work area.
- Stocks, maintains and oversees carpentry shop cleanliness.
- All other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Stand, walk, sit, talk/hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms, and taste or smell, up to 70% of the time.
- Moderate to very loud noise.
- Clear vision at 20” or less, ability to identify and distinguish colors, three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships, and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
- Work in wet, humid conditions (non-weather), near moving mechanical parts, in high, precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals, in outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat and cold (non-weather), and vibration, up to 10% of the time.
- Have body movement and dexterity to complete tasks
- Lift up to 25 lbs. 50% of the time, Lift up to 50 pounds 20% of the time,
- Ability to work with hands above your head while standing on a ladder or lift.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience in all phases of carpentry and construction to include mill work, tile, drywall, framing, hanging doors, etc.; five years’ experience maintaining large commercial multiuse facilities, previous project and personnel experience, highly preferred. Knowledge of accepted standards of carpentry and construction processes, techniques, tools, and standards.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and to coordinate work with other departments and trades.
- Working knowledge of local codes and OSHA safety standards.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge/skill in Word and Excel software highly desirable.
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
- High school diploma or GED.

Compensation
- Base hourly range $25.96-$28.85 per hour
