Nature of Work:
This marketing internship provides an opportunity to learn and assist with various marketing and promotional initiatives for the Colorado Mammoth. The marketing intern position will support both the Events and Activation side, plus the Advertising functions of the Marketing department.
Examples of work performed:
Events & Activations
- Collaborates with Marketing Coordinator & VP of Marketing on the ideation, planning, and execution of marketing events and activations throughout the Mammoth season, including in-arena promotions, in-market events, and more.
- Contributes to and assists with campaign recaps.
- Researches and reports to team members any and all trends throughout the sports and entertainment industry to help keep the Mammoth brand timely.
Advertising
- Assists in creating, developing, and executing marketing campaigns that align with team messaging and target markets.
- Assists in development and execution of the weekly Mammoth Mail marketing email platform.
- Researches and presents new concepts and best practices from other teams and leagues.
Miscellaneous
- Required to work some nights and weekends for Mammoth home games and events.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum
- Working toward BS/BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Event Management, Communications or related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
- Preferred
- Previous internship or related job experience

Compensation
- Base hourly $18.81/hour
