Nature of Work:
The Denver Nuggets are seeking a highly motivated and energetic professional to join the Ticket Sales leadership team as the Manager of Inside Sales. The Manager of Inside Sales is focused on building an industry leading sales program for entry level sales representatives. The Manager will recruit, hire, train and develop sales professionals in sales techniques, including face-to-face appointment selling, networking, and cross selling products. The Manager of Inside Sales will be responsible for driving revenue from the department, while becoming a center for development for the Nuggets Ticket Sales & Service Departments. Manager must have a proven track record in B2B and B2C sales in the sports industry, and possess strong leadership and management skills.
Examples of work performed:
- Recruit, hire and train new Inside Sales Representatives.
- Create and implement onboarding plan for the Inside Sales Representatives.
- Establish a training program for Inside Sales Representatives and teach them sales process.
- Professional development training for the rep for the future with the organization.
- Create and implement inside sales strategy to drive department revenue through season memberships, partial plans and group sales for the Denver Nuggets
- Build relationships with university sport sales programs and attend career fairs locally and nationally to find and recruit the best available talent. This proactive recruiting model means this manager is constantly interviewing, inquiring, and selling the program.
- Focus on developing a talented pipeline of potential Inside Sales hires that will add to a culture of diversity and inclusion within the Denver Nuggets Ticket Sales Department.
- Responsible for meeting with each representative on a consistent basis to discuss personal updates, goal pacing, and training needs.
- Responsible for giving consistent and constructive feedback to accelerate the learning curve.
- Establish goals and incentive programs for Inside Sales Representatives.
- Develop and maintain a national brand in the industry for the Inside Sales program and implement best practices
- Monitor and report on the sales process and results to all Nuggets Ticket Sales Management.
- Create an annual business plan that is focused on growing the Denver Nuggets Inside Sales brand, as well as training and development regiment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Normal office environment.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.
- Working Denver Nuggets games and events may require long periods of standing and walking.
- Occasionally lifting equipment for sales tables and events weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to communicate clearly and effectively with prospects and clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 3 years ticket sales experience with a proven track record of B2C and B2B sales.
- Applicants must meet qualifications at the time of hire
- Preferred
- Experience leading sales training for ticket sales staff.
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

Compensation:
- Base salary range $75,000 per year
- Eligible for bonus plan
