What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst, Property Tax position at Kroll?
Our Property Tax Analysts focus on commercial real estate consulting and valuation services including analyzing financial and market data, maintaining data integrity in proprietary applications, communicating with teams and taxing authorities, and monitoring deadlines.
Note this position can be hybrid in our Atlanta, Chicago or Nashville office.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Performing in-depth client, industry, and general market research
- Analyzing financial and market data
- Learning proprietary software application to manage data
- Developing fair market value opinions using traditional real estate valuation techniques such as Income Capitalization, Market, and Replacement Cost Approaches
- Preparing and filing administrative appeals and refund claims
Essential traits:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Real Estate or similarly related field OR a minimum of 4 years related work experience
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to problem solve and make educated decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with leads and other team members
