We are seeking a motivated Technology Summer Intern to support and enhance our IT department's internal communication efforts. Salary range for this position is $20 - $35 USD/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement updates to the IT department’s internal intranet site to improve user experience, navigation, and content.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the intranet provides relevant and timely information.
- Create and manage internal social media and communication campaigns to promote IT projects, events, and achievements across the organization.
- Develop creative content, including blog posts, newsletters, and visual assets, for internal distribution.
- Support data gathering and analysis to measure engagement and effectiveness of communications and site updates.
- Assist in identifying and implementing new intranet features or technologies to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Participate in project management and coordination activities, including tracking milestones, managing timelines, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project delivery.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication and writing skills with an interest in content creation and design.
- Experience with intranet platforms, coding/development, or web development is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media management and internal communication tools is desirable.
- Organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a dynamic team environment.
