JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY : Interpret customer requirements; develop, prepare, and follow-up on quotes and orders until released to engineering in coordination with customer, sales, order management, and project management.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain key data points in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Answer customer questions related to the Krones product line.
- Interpret customer requirements; develop, prepare, and follow-up on quotes and orders until released to engineering. Once orders are released to engineering, the end-to-end project manager will take over the customer communication and project execution.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external calls, meetings, and communications between stakeholders and project team from project scope to quote and final sales order.
- Communicate with sales, product specialist, engineers, order management, and project management to clarify project details, risk level (complex), and project timelines. Follow up on inquiries (with stakeholders) for additional information when needed.
- Coordinate, identify, and confirm customer object samples for KINC item lines, and when applicable, send samples to AG or OEMs for non-KINC lines prior to status 20.
- Document and assign classification status for samples needed for engineering and product specialist. This involves reading sample drawings (bottle, caps, labels, etc.) and layouts.
- Classify objects and complete status updates in SCDD.
- Set key project dates in SAP that will be tracked and monitored by order management and project management after release to engineering. Communicate with customer for final order, ETA status, and hand-off to project management point person.
- Understand and execute domestic and international customer-specific topics including, but not limited to, hazmat materials protocol, incoterms, SAP shipping conditions, logistics, customs clearance process, proforma creation, and commercial invoices.
- Create request for service estimate in SharePoint for quotes >
100K or as requested by customer.
