Looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer who is a self-starter, self-motivated team player with
the ability to think outside of the box to solve complex problems in a fast paced Aerospace environment.
- Must be able to read and interpret part drawings and aviation related specifications.
- Must be able to read, understand and create manufacturing work instructions.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Projects, Visio and Outlook.
- Must be able to Identify failure modes and determine RCCA.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have the ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gage and feature checking gages to determine
- part conformity.
- Must have the ability to understand part and assembly BOM structure.
- Must have experience working with internal and external suppliers and customers.
- Must have the ability to identify opportunities for tooling and/or fixturing and make design
- recommendations.
- Must have experience with time study of manufacturing and/or assembly operations.
- Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.
- Experience with APQP functions: Process Map, Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA & PFEP is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is preferred.
- Experience identifying capital projects, submitting capital project requests and work with purchasing
- and the capitalization team to complete capital projects is preferred.
- BS in Engineering is preferred.
