Description of the Role:
The Special Education Tutor for Down syndrome support is responsible for providing specialized academic support to students with Down syndrome. The tutor will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering the social and emotional development of students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Down syndrome
- Develop personalized learning plans based on individual needs and goals
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Provide accommodations and modifications to the curriculum as needed
- Foster the social and emotional development of students
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and teachers to ensure coordinated support

Requirements:
