What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Job Shop Machinist position at Krueger Bearings, Inc?
Family owned machine shop is looking for a hands on 2nd shift Lead Machinist . This individual will be responsible for leading the shop in CNC Machining, Mills, Lathes, etc. We are looking for a team player; a true contributor, eager to learn our business and assist with the management of daily operations on the shop floor.
2nd shift works Monday - Thursday 3 pm - 1 am.
Job Responsibilities :
- Keep all machinists on task (train if necessary) and provide direction.
- Quality control / inspection - must follow ensure employees follow through on inspection of parts throughout the process
- Recommendations to Management regarding personnel decision including staffing, evaluations, discipline and compensation.
- Produces machining parts on intricate parts with knowledge of Machining centers and / or Turning centers.
- Ability to read routings, customer prints
