Quality Technician

Krueger Bearings is a leading provider in contract machining and custom machined parts.

This position is responsible for inspecting intricate machined parts. The work requires a thorough knowledge of inspection techniques with high degree of attention to detail. The inspector will effectively read and interpret blueprints and dimensions. The inspector will approve or reject in process inspections and make final inspections for acceptable standards.

1st OR 2nd shift openings available!

Essential Duties :

• Responsible for performing First article inspections, In-process inspections, final inspections.
• Assist in performing simple receiving inspection operations, checking for conformance to specifications and PO requirements.
• Examine machined product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, dents, burrs, and nicks.
• Follows procedures to verify specified dimensions of product or material using a variety of standard inspection tools such as bore gages, thread gages, pin gages, OD and ID micometers, indicators, calipers, etc.
• Performs chemical etch, ink stamp, laser etch.
• Accurately completes all required inspection results.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following all standards and procedures.
